Adult curdogs grow to a size that reaches a typical orc\u2019s mid-thigh. This size doesn\u2019t include the curdog\u2019s spines, which can reach up to the ribcage of an orc. A curdog has a round body encased in a hard shell. Many spines grow from the shell in nearly all directions as a form of protection. Curdogs walk and run on four legs that reach down where their spines are lacking. Their legs can be tucked up into their shells for protection. This allows a curdog to present a target that is nothing but shell and spine to predators. They have a long, shell plated, tail that they use for balance. The tail can curl into a loop at its tip, which curdogs use to hang from trees to avoid some predators. A curdog hanging from a tree resembles nothing so much as an oversize sweetgum seed pods. Curdogs are highly valued by Tarveshti culture for their meat and cheese. They produce cheese products at the base of their spines after reaching breeding age. Tarveshti orcs have perfected a harvesting technique for gathering curdog cheese. The cheese of curdogs has become a staple of Tarveshti cuisine.
